April 22 ~ Low tide Battle Rock Park and Beach pics

Sunday, 04-22-2001 ~ Overcast skies this morning. We took a late afternoon walk on Battle Rock Park and a low tide Battle Rock Beach a few weeks ago. Below are some pics shot from Battle Rock Park looking down on Battle Rock Beach.

I shot these photos from the west side of Battle Rock Park. The last image is a north to south view of Battle Rock.

I walked down to the beach adjacent Battle Rock and took these shots looking east along the surfline.

The first picture below is my favorite from this outing, it's a wide angle view looking down the beach with a hillside reflection on the sand. The low tide attracted several groups of gulls, as can be seen in most of these images.

I took the pics below a few days later after some rain and high mountain snow visited our community. Our first set features wide angle views of Battle Rock Beach, Orford Cove, and Humbug Mountain.

The next sequence of pictures show beach scenes at different zoom settings. In the first image you can see some snow sprinkles on China Mountain.

We finish today with a zoomed view of Rocky Point with Highway 101. Next pic has some a mom and kids strolling a low tide beach with Monkey Rock and Hubbards Creek Beach in the background. Our final pic shows one of our beach strollers getting a helping lift from sis.
