Desktop Wallpapers, Backgrounds, Display Settings Instructions

If you would like to use one of our great Oregon Pics as your desktop wallpaper (the background image behind your desktop icons). Then follow these simple instructions and your desktop can look like the sample one on the left (click to see full size).

First left click on the thumbnail image (the little photo like the one above left). A new page will open showing the image in full scale. Then right click on the full image and pick Set as Wallpaper (see picture on the right). Your favorite Oregon Coast picture should now be on your desktop and look like the one above!

Instructions for changing your display settings so our 640x480 images will appear full screen on your background/wallpaper

 Most of our past pictures were published at a 640x480 resolution. If your display settings are set at a higher resolution (i.e. 800x600), than you should set your display background 'Picture Setting' to 'Stretch' (instructions below).

1. Right click on your desktop, left click on 'Active Desktop', left click on 'Customize my Desktop' (see sample pic above left).

2. Your 'Display Properties' box will now appear on screen, left click the 'Background' tab, then click on 'Stretch' in the 'Picture Display' box (see sample pic on the right). Click 'Apply' then 'OK'. Your 640x480 image should now appear in a full screen format on your desktop background/wallpaper.
