Pelicans in Port Orford Cove (click on pics to see full size)

August 10, 2004 ~ Pelicans in Orford Cove. We normally don't see a whole lot of Pelicans here in Port Orford but a few weeks back there were several dozen of the big majestic birds here. Below are some pictures of the Pelicans during different phases of flight or rest.

His bill holds more than his belican.
He can take in his beak
Enough food for a week.
But I'm darned if I know how the helican."
